Mission

The Pointe-Claire Drinking Water Production Plant serves four other West Island municipalities on the island of Montreal (see network map) . It distributes an average of 60 000 m3 of potable water per day to a population of 79 071 perople and approximately 1000 business and commercial users spread out in the city of Pointe-Claire, Baie-D’Urfé, Beaconsfield, Kirkland and part of Dollard-des-Ormeaux (see map).

The Pointe-Claire water plant is part of a network of six drinking water production plants handled by the Montréal urban agglomération, which is responsible for water management throughout the territory of the island of Montréal.

Regarding water main breaks, water quality, water meters or sewage, contact the public works department of the municipality concerned. Outside office hours, contact the cities’s emergency services.
